ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR POST GRADUATE 2025 BATCH STUDENTS

Dear Student,

Subject: Orientation Programme for First-Year Postgraduate Students – Academic Year 2025–2026

Greetings from Hindustan College of Arts & Science!
Welcome to the HCAS Family.
Proud to be a HCASian!

We are pleased to inform you that the college will reopen for First-Year PG students on Monday, 4^th August 2025 at 9:00 a.m. for the academic year 2025–26.

You are requested to report to the campus at the specified time along with your parent/guardian, bringing all original certificates for verification and submission, and to attend the Orientation Programme. On the same day, you will receive your Admit Card and College ID Card.

ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:

1. Two sets of colour passport-size photographs of the student and parents (Father & Mother or Guardian).
2. Original mark statements of 10th, 11th, 12th, and UG (1st to 6th semester or consolidated marksheet).

• If original mark statements are not issued, submit attested provisional mark statements.
• A copy of the 6th Semester Hall Ticket (applicable only for students who completed their UG under the University of Madras

1. Community Certificate and Aadhaar Card – 2 photocopies.
2. Original UG Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate – 2 photocopies.
3. Provisional Certificate (if available).
4. For students from universities other than the University of Madras, submit an Eligibility Certificate issued by the University of Madras – 2 photocopies.
5. Original Tuition Fee Receipt – 1 photocopy.
6. Students must be dressed in formals for ID card photography.

• Blood group details are mandatory for the ID card.

1. EMIS Number (available in the TC).
2. Parent’s Annual Income Certificate – 1 photocopy.
3. Student’s Bank Account Details – 1 photocopy of passbook front page.

• If you do not have a bank account, you may open one with Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), the official bank of HCAS. For this, bring:
• One photocopy of Aadhaar card.
• One photocopy of PAN card / Driving License / Voter ID.
• Two passport-size photographs.

1. UDID Card (if applicable for physically challenged students) – 1 copy.

Important Note:

• Kindly ensure that the full First-Year Tuition Fee is paid on or before 4th August 2025 to confirm your admission.
• Please arrive one hour before the programme begins for smooth processing.

If the Tuition Fee has already been paid, kindly ignore the above instruction.

Use your Admission Number as both User ID and Password to log in.
